Bio

I grew up in northwestern PA, “God’s Country”, and attended Gannon University in Erie, PA. After graduation, I moved to Colorado, Germany, Idaho, then back to Pennsylvania where I settled and started my family. I had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom for 14 years, then returned to the work force when my family’s schedule allowed. Most of my nursing experience comes from the ER, where I treated a wide range of injuries and illnesses.

I moved to Frisco in 2011 and have been with FISD for most of that time. My children are strong, healthy, vibrant adults now, but I can say, I’ve seen “the good, bad and the ugly” with them. I understand that parenting is challenging and definitely not for cowards! Middle school years are a particularly difficult time for most adolescents to navigate.  Therefore stable, wise counsel from parents and all influential adults is crucial for these kiddos. Please feel free to stop by or email if you have concerns or questions about your child’s health or welfare. I am here for you.
